New Pattern – Knitted Rag Dolls

I have always loved knitting (and sewing) dolls and dolls’ clothes! I used to sew rag dolls that were meant to be played with, and now I have designed a knitted ‘rag’ doll which can either be made to look at or to play with.

Meet Ami and Jamie (with the lovely Georgia)!

rag dolls 011They each use the same basic pattern, and are about 60 cm / 24″ tall. They are straightforward to knit, and work up quickly. The dolls are made with DK yarn and their hair is knitted on using DK eyelash. Their arms and legs are sewn to the body so that they can swing freely, allowing easy dressing and posing.

The pattern costs £4.00 and can be bought from my Ravelry store here, and from Etsy here.
