I taught my daughter’s class (back then grade one – seven year olds) to felt soaps in brightly coloured tops for Mother’s Day gifts, great fun.

Some folk use them as paperweights and such like. Here we are going to be building a cairn outside the Heritage Centre of both felted and non-felted stones. When groups come to visit we will get them to felt a stone to add to the cairn…

I wish I didnae’ get sea-sick! But the rest of it certainly sounds marvellous. There are some amazing things going on up there this year – and planned for next I believe!
